Where Beautiful Gardens Begin...

Gardening Tips

By now many of us have done the garden planning & planting. However, for those who are still taking the back yard garden plunge here are some tips that will surely produce some great home garden product.

Here in North Carolina we have one of the best growing zones. You can start with indoor containers or a small outdoor plot as well. Find a good location that can offer many hours of sunshine per day. Also your soil should be prepared by tilling and adding organic soil amendments as needed (topsoil, lime, fertilizers). Once your soil is prepared and your containers are ready, it’s time to plant. Great starter crops can be tomatoes, beans, cucumbers and leafy greens. As always keep the weeds to a minimal, continue your fertilizing and in due time enjoy all the “fruits & vegetables” of your labor.

For those who still have some room in their gardens or want to start one, we have on sale this week all quart pots of garden herbs on sale. Stop by and grab a few more to add to or start a new herb garden.

Additionally, for our landscapers, we have our quality Japanese Maples on sale. For those who want to add something special to their existing spaces and add that distinguished curb appeal! All of our 3 gallon Japanese Maples our grown right here at our Garden Center! And for those who still want to add some fabulous color whether it be indoor or out we have our entire “home grown” flowering hanging baskets on sale as well. Nothing can compare to a garden filled with colorful flowers & plants.

Lastly, for those who enjoy the collection of Fairy Garden items we have them on sale at 20% off retail pricing. Add that special touch to any outdoor garden.
